Job Description

We are seeking skilled welders proficient in MIG or TIG welding for our 1st (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) or 2nd shift (4:30 PM - 1:30 AM) positions. You will be responsible for MIG welding on aluminum or steel, production welding, and some fab shop welding. The role involves interpreting blueprints, setting up welding machines, and utilizing robotic welders as needed.

ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on aluminum or steel.Engage in production welding and fabrication shop welding.Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.Set up welding machines based on job specifications and welding procedures.Utilize robotic welders as needed.Fit products to blueprint specifications.Essential Skills3+ years of MIG or TIG welding experience, with a preference for aluminum welding.Proficiency in blueprint interpretation.Experience with structural steel or aluminum.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fabrication, stick welding, mild steel, sheet metal, stainless steel, and fitting.Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our facility operates on two shifts: 1st shift (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Monday to Friday, and 2nd shift (4:30 PM - 1:30 AM) Monday to Friday. The environment is clean, organized, and safe, and has been recognized as Fabricator of the Year in 2023. We have a state-of-the-art facility with the latest equipment, ensuring a top-notch working environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
