**Job Title: Fabricator/Fitter** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting job orders and BOMs, creating cut lists, and preparing materials for assembly. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints and welding techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a job shop manufacturing environment. **Responsibilities** + Interpret job orders and BOMs to gather necessary parts and materials. + Review drawings and blueprints to create accurate cut lists. + Layout material holes for punching/drilling and prepare parts for assembly. + Tack up weldments and assist with welding and shearing tasks as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience in fabricating and fitting. + Proficiency in layout and blueprint/BOM interpretation. + Job shop experience. + Mig welding skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with press brake, shearing, and punch press is a plus. + Certifications, apprenticeships, or relevant education are advantageous but not required. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a well-established steel fabricating company. The work is conducted in two buildings which can vary in temperature, requiring adaptability to hot summers and cold winters. Safety is a priority; safety glasses and steel toe shoes are mandatory. The dress code allows for jeans and appropriate T-shirts. The standard hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with 45-50 hour workweeks during the summer. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
