The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welds in a variety of materials, including steel and aluminum, to meet customer specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: + Set up and operate MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding equipment. + Weld steel and aluminum components based on engineering drawings, blueprints, or specifications. + Perform welds on various parts, ensuring proper joint preparation, heat settings, and welding techniques. + Inspect welds for accuracy and quality using visual inspection, gauges, and other testing methods. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety standards are followed at all times. + Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding equipment. + Collaborate with other team members, including fabricators and supervisors, to ensure timely and accurate project completion. + Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). + Adhere to company policies and industry regulations, including environmental guidelines. Required Skills & Qualifications: + Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, specifically with steel and aluminum. + Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and materials. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Familiarity with welding safety practices and PPE usage. + Good manual dexterity and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
