Job Description
We are looking for a versatile and self-reliable welder to join a small yet successful welding shop. With over 28 years of operation, the shop has experienced significant growth and is seeking a dedicated individual who can handle a variety of tasks including shop welding, machine operation, warehouse duties, shipping, and packaging. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently without constant supervision.
ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding and shop welding with varying types of welds.Operate machinery and equipment within the shop.Handle warehouse operations including shipping and packaging.Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication projects.Assist with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth shop operations.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with fabrication and shop welding.Capability to operate machines.Skills in warehouse operations, shipping, and packaging.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be self-reliable and able to work independently.Flexibility to adapt to different types of welds and tasks.Potential to travel occasionally with the shop owner (no overnight stays).Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a small, non-climate-controlled shed that remains warm enough during the winter. The shop is small with 2-3 employees, providing a close-knit and supportive atmosphere.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
