About the Job:

We’re seeking motivated, detail-oriented Welders to join our team! As a Welder, you’ll be responsible for MIG welding aluminum feed trailers in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Don’t worry if you don’t have aluminum welding experience—we’ll provide training! Your work will include welding parts together, tacking trailers with .035 wire, and reading blueprints to determine the exact specifications.

You’ll be an essential part of our production team, ensuring quality work is completed efficiently while working in various positions and sometimes climbing into bins and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

MIG weld aluminum feed trailers and related partsTackle various welding tasks (standing, climbing, tacking) using .035 wireRead and interpret blueprints to ensure proper welding, measurements, and positioning

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

1+ year MIG welding experience1+ year of on-the-job welding experience (steel or aluminum)Ability to read a tape measure accuratelyFamiliar with welding from blueprints (6+ months experience)Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team or independentlyExperience in assembly and fabrication

Work Environment:

Our facility in Cedar Rapids provides a shop-like environment. It’s cool in the winter and warm in the summer. We have three main departments: Service (repairing existing equipment), Welding (primary role), and Final Assembly (completing trailer setups). Your shift will be one of the following:

1st Shift: 5:00 AM–1:30 PM OR 6:00 AM–2:30 PM2nd Shift: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM3rd Shift: 9:30 PM–6:00 AMTraining occurs on 1st shift, and based on your learning pace, you’ll transition to your designated shift quickly!

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
