**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with structural steel and carbon steel, with a focus on MIG welding. Additionally, the candidate will share responsibilities involving SAW operation and manual Drill Press tasks. We are a stable company with over 90 years of history, offering a great working schedule and a central location in Columbus. Join our team and be a part of a respected family-owned business. The work environment is a fairly clean manufacturing setting with some steel scrapings on the floor. It is a very quiet and smoke-free environment. The shift is 1st (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday, some Fridays; 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Friday). **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on structural steel and carbon steel. + Operate SAW and manual Drill Press. + Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams. + Conduct setups, changeovers, and minor programming based on blueprints. + Maintain a clean and safe working environment. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience with MIG welding on structural steel and carbon steel. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams. + Experience with SAW operation and manual Drill Press. + Ability to perform setups, changeovers, and minor programming. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift operation experience. + Fabrication experience. + Completion of trade school. + Experience in military or farm work. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr. • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Columbus,OH. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Feb 24, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
