**Job Title: Production Welder**
**Job Description**
Candidates will adjust welding current to proper weld configurations along with heating and forming metal parts and components using hand tools, torch, or welding equipment. Candidates will weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. They will accurately operate and read measuring devices, assemble, and weld various metal parts together.
**Responsibilities**
+ Adjust welding current to proper weld configurations.
+ Heat and form metal parts and components using hand tools, torch, or welding equipment.
+ Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
+ Accurately operate and read measuring devices.
+ Assemble and weld various metal parts together.
**Essential Skills**
+ 6 plus months of welding experience either through education or work.
+ Ability to pass a weld test: Vertical Down weld test (wire feed/Mig).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with mig welding, stick welding, wire feed, and brazing.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ No high school diploma or GED required.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is heavy industrial manufacturing, which can be dusty and very hot in the summer. There are some smells from paint fumes. The team size is approximately 260 employees. The dress code includes jeans and a t-shirt. PPE supplied includes a hard hat or bump cap, eye protection, vest, and ear plugs. Candidates must have steel toe boots.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dodge Center, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
