Hiring for a Welder

Pay: 21-25/hr

Shift: 1st shift - M-Th. - 6am-4:30pm

2nd shift - M-Th. - 3:30pm-2am

Wknd shift - F-S - 6am-6pm

Job Description

Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. Utilize welding equipment to make repairs to discontinuities of submerged arc weld seams on steel pipes.

Responsibilities

Perform weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations.Utilize welding equipment for repairs on submerged arc weld seams.Follow customer drawings and specifications to manufacture products.Proficiently use MIG, flux core, and dual shield welding techniques.Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.Fit and assemble sheet metal and heavy-duty structures.Utilize conventional and precision measuring instruments.Perform process inspection, certification, and documentation.Maintain welding equipment and perform finish grinding using manual and power tools.Use various hand tools and mobile device applications.Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39000.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Steve Mizer (repair welders) MIG/flux at least 1 year exp starts at $19 on first shift, James Abernathy(flux) or Mike Smith (fitting) regarding experience and will be given a tour and a weld test. Must bring steel toes and hood. Will weld on scrap first and have visual test. Should plan to be there 45 min-1.5 hours.
