**Aerotek is hiring for multiple Welders - entry level to experienced on 1st, 2nd and 3rd!** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled welder proficient in MIG welding. The ideal candidate must be capable of multitasking, transitioning between welding and other fabrication tasks as needed. You will work from engineering drawings and Bill of Materials to fabricate and weld components, adjusting the welder as necessary to accommodate varying thicknesses of steel. This position involves operating various tools and equipment including welders, grinders, drills, hand/power tools, measuring devices, and, if certified, overhead cranes and forklifts. The role can be in either the Panel Welding or Tank Welding departments, with Panel Welding focusing on basic straight-line welds and Tank Welding requiring more complex vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding tasks as needed. + Switch between welding and other areas of the fabrication department. + Work from engineering drawings and Bill of Materials to fabricate and weld components. + Adjust welder to accommodate varying thicknesses of steel. + Operate welder, grinder, drill, variety of hand/power tools, and measuring devices. + Operate overhead crane and forklift if certified. + Perform basic straight-line welds in the Panel Welding department. + Perform vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding in the Tank Welding department. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift certification is a plus. + Experience operating overhead cranes. + Knowledge of handling heavier gauge, galvanized steel processes. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company that offers significant growth opportunities with the construction of a new building.
