Your responsibilities will include a variety of welding tasks, such as welding, brazing, and cutting metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous. You will work independently, effectively performing skilled trades duties that involve repairing components; conducting structural welding on bridge elements; and resolving issues related to equipment frames, hitches, and plows. Furthermore, you will skillfully fabricate repair parts and body components for numerous applications. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment + Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. + Travel, overtime, and shift work required. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: + Three years of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or + Completion of a three-year, high school Vo-Tech training program in welding and eighteen months of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or + Completion of an approved welder apprentice program; or + A welding certificate D1.1 from the American Welding Society; or + An equivalent combination of experience and training.
