**Job Title: Welder**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled welder with experience in MIG welding on steel and stainless steel. The ideal candidate will be proficient in stick welding, reading blueprints, fabricating parts, and fitting. Experience in GMAW Spray and Short Arc welding is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding on steel and stainless steel.
+ Conduct stick welding, especially on stainless steel.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for fabricating parts.
+ Fit and fabricate parts as required.
+ Utilize GMAW Spray and Short Arc welding techniques.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience in MIG welding.
+ Proficiency in stick welding.
+ Experience with GMAW Spray and Short Arc welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Strong fabrication skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with stainless steel and mild steel.
+ Familiarity with hydraulic cylinders.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, job shop environment.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a small machine shop with a shift schedule of 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime if needed. The shop has a hands-on, collaborative atmosphere, though it lacks a break room and can be dirty. It's important for team members to get along well.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
