Job Description:
Responsible for assembling structural metal products using tools, machines, and your own hands to take projects from blueprints to finished product.
Primary Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets to determine appropriate operations to be performed.
Complete assembly responsibilities including bending, punching, shearing, drilling, tapping, grinding, burring, and counter burring.
Fabricate, assemble, fit, and weld to blueprint specifications.
Check material stock/availability per job.
Build prototypes
Use inspection gauges such as micrometers, verniers, and combination squares.
Report any malfunctions or equipment problems to a management
Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and safety procedures.
Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas at all times.
