**Job Title: Welder** **Pay/Shift** 2nd shift: 3pm-1:30am $21-$24/HR **Job Description** Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to customer drawings, specifications, or other instructions. Utilize welding equipment to make repairs to discontinuities of submerged arc weld seams on steel pipes. **Responsibilities** + Perform various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations. + Manufacture products according to customer drawings, specifications, or other instructions. + Utilize welding equipment to repair discontinuities of submerged arc weld seams on steel pipes. + Proficiently use assigned welding techniques and equipment. + Set up fixtures and weld parameters (amps, volts, etc.). + Conduct process inspection, certification, and documentation. + Maintain welding equipment and perform finish grinding applications using manual and power tools. + Utilize various hand tools and equipment, including mobile device applications and programs. + Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are met. + Complete other duties as assigned by direct supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in assigned welding techniques. + Knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.). + Experience with conventional and precision measuring instruments. + Ability to perform process inspection, certification, and documentation. + Experience in welding equipment maintenance. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $39000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
