Job Description

We are seeking skilled Welder Fabricators to join our team for upcoming projects around the state. This role involves working in our local fabrication shop, with a focus on MIG and Stick welding on mild steel ranging from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch in thickness. Candidates will be required to fabricate a metal box with 90-degree angles as part of the weld test.

ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and Stick welding on mild steel.Fabricate metal structures, including metal boxes with 90-degree angles.Work with metal thicknesses ranging from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch.Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication projects.Install fabricated projects at various sites once a month during mini shutdowns.Conduct mechanical installations and repairs.Perform cutting, grinding, and measuring tasks.Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues.Essential SkillsMIG and Stick welding experience.Proficiency in fabrication and mechanical installation.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with sheet metal, motors, and CNC laser equipment.Troubleshooting and repair skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with maintenance technician duties.Knowledge of construction and electrical systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a huge concrete aggregate company, primarily in a fabrication shop that is dusty and dirty. The majority of the workday is spent indoors, away from the sun. Hard hats are not required in the shop.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
