**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Welder and Fabricator, where you will be responsible for building flatbed trailers from blueprints in a dynamic welding/fabrication shop. You will primarily perform MIG welding, along with some solid core welding on high-strength steel, stainless steel, and occasionally TIG welding on aluminum. Your tasks will include taking blueprints to fabricate and weld raw materials together, performing out-of-position welding in tight spaces, and using equipment such as plasma cutters, laser cutters, material handlers, and cranes. We are seeking proficient Class A & Class B welders for our second shift, ready to tackle challenges in a fast-paced environment. **Hard Skills** + MIG welding + Fabrication + Blueprint reading + Use of plasma and laser cutters + Material handling **Soft Skills** + Precision and attention to detail + Ability to work in a team + Adaptability to work in loud and varying temperature conditions **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 400 Hour(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** The work environment involves exposure to loud noises and can be cold or hot. Steel toes are required, and candidates must possess basic hand tools and their own welding hood. A strict no-cellphone policy is enforced on the floor to protect proprietary information.
