**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator** **Job Description** This is a fabrication position where the candidate will be responsible for reading detailed, in-depth blueprints/schematics, collecting any necessary parts detailed in the work order or cut sheet, and fabricating from raw steel. The main project involves creating auto manufacturer conveyor tracks, fabricating steel tracks using metric measuring based on a circular model, which requires an understanding of radius and simple geometry. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics. + Collect necessary parts as detailed in work orders or cut sheets. + Fabricate steel tracks from raw materials. + Measure and fabricate based on a circular model, using the center line as a reference. + Precut materials and use blueprints/jigs to set up own station. + Build large steel conveyor systems from start to finish. + Operate cranes, forklifts, and hoists to transport parts to the workstation. + Perform grinding tasks as needed. **Essential Skills** + Fabrication + Blueprint reading + MIG welding + Steel fabrication + TIG welding + Crane operation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum of 2 years of MIG fabrication experience with raw steel. + Preferred schooling in related field. + For higher pay rate, 5-10 years of experience is required. **Why Work Here?** Our organization values a professional and collaborative work environment where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and grow within the company.
