**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator** **Job Description** As a Welder and Fabricator, you will lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames and parts. You must have 3-5+ years of MIG welding experience, the ability to read blueprints, and fitting/fabrication experience. **Responsibilities** + Identify universal weld symbols and various materials + Set up and operate welding equipment + Layout, position, align, and fit components together + Read and interpret work specifications, work orders, blueprints, and schematics + Visually inspect completed welds to ensure adherence to specifications + Perform air arc gouging when removing welds or preparing weld joints + Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions + Accurately cut, clean, de-burr, and prep parts for welding + Utilize rigging and crane/jib equipment **Essential Skills** + 3-5+ years of MIG welding experience + Proficiency in reading blueprints + Fitting and fabrication experience + Ability to perform spray arc welding + Experience in an industrial fab shop working with large-scale parts **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong understanding of weld symbols + Experience with metal-cored wire/flux core welding + Ability to work in various welding positions, primarily flat **Why Work Here?** Our company partners with customers around the globe and maintains a strong foothold in multiple markets, ensuring job security and stability for employees. Overtime, if required, will typically be scheduled at the start of the shift. The work environment includes exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and high, precarious places.
