**Urgently Hiring Welders near Westfield, IN** $24-$26/hr | Sheridan, IN **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Welder proficient in MIG welding to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for layout, positioning, and securing parts using a plasma cutter and straightedge, as well as performing various welding techniques in different positions. **Responsibilities** + Layout, position, and secure plasma cut parts using a straightedge + Perform MIG welding in vertical up, vertical down, horizontal, and overhead positions + Read and interpret CAD drawings + Lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds regularly **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding + Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings + Experience in fabrication and fitting + Knowledge of stainless steel welding + Blueprint reading skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with various welding techniques + Attention to detail and safety protocols + Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned business that is a leader in shot blast equipment in the US and abroad. We provide necessary PPE and tools, including work gloves, protective glasses, and hearing protection. Steel-toed shoes are required and must be provided by the employee. The facility is clean, organized, and recently updated with new restrooms, office spaces, and a paved parking lot.
