**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** Candidates will be performing mostly MIG welding on steel and aluminum, with about 80% of the work involving aluminum. Some TIG welding is also involved. The company makes scales for various applications, including military contracts. They use Miller welders and have a full-time grinder; however, welders will occasionally need to grind their welds. The welding tasks are relatively straightforward and do not require perfect precision. The job may involve working with large parts, but hoists and tables are available to assist. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum, with a focus on aluminum. + Execute TIG welding as needed. + Grind welds when necessary, despite the presence of a full-time grinder. + Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols or demonstrate the capability to learn. + Utilize hoists and tables to manage large parts. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of welding experience or relevant education/schooling. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols or the capability to learn. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in stainless steel MIG and TIG welding. **Why Work Here?** This is a chill company where management is not micromanaging.
