Candidates will be welding on structural mild steel on trusses and steel stairs/railing. The work involves handling thicker metals and full penetration welding, with the thickest material being 2 inches. This is custom work, not suitable for production welders. Most of the work involves 5/16 single pass welding, all done in position without jigs, fixtures, or turntables. Parts range from 5-6 ft to 60 ft, and dual shield flux core with .045 wire is used.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
