We are seeking a skilled Code Welder with expertise in engineering and manufacturing of steam generation and gas turbine Co-generation equipment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with layout, fitting, and welding from blueprints a variety of weldments, pressure vessels, and piping built to A.S.M.E. boiler codes and weld procedures.
ResponsibilitiesLayout, fit, and weld from blueprints a variety of weldments, pressure vessels, and piping.Ensure all work meets A.S.M.E. boiler codes and customer requirements.Perform primarily TIG welding as a level one Code Welder.Execute a combination of TIG and MIG welding as a level two Code Welder.Fabricate structural steel casings customized to surround pressure vessels.Fit and weld interconnecting runs to be assembled in the field.Code welding of boiler tubes to pressure parts.Essential SkillsAt least 3 years of experience in TIG welding.Ability to pass a 6G weld test.Minimum of 1 year experience with Stick and Flux Core welding (education considered).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in an industrial environment.Technical School Degree in Welding preferred but not required.Experience with TIG welding on pipes.Why Work Here?
