Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified for a Welder/Fabricator position with a company in Erie, PA.  This is a 1st shift position with a pay rate of $20/hour plus--based on experience.  

Welder/Fabricator

Shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $21-23/hour
Screening Process: resume submittal, face to face interview with company, welding test to follow if the interview goes well.

Job Duties Develop, layout, and plan sequence of operations
Fabricate and assemble a variety of metal products using various types of welding with TIG being predominant.   Knowledge of wire filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials. Applications using manual and power tools.
Demonstrate the ability to program machining centers and robotic welders Machine maintenance and safety to basic welding and press equipment.
Interface with computer systems, complete paperwork, and conduct in-process inspection.
Use conventional and precision measuring instruments. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Maintain accurate records of times, measurements, inventory and procedures associated with the fabricating function. Identify all jobs with name and job number, and package finished products in such a way as to provide protection from abuse & weather.
Learn to use overhead crane and forklift
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED TIG Welding experience Ability to read blueprints Ability to use precision measuring devices--micrometers and calipers Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportion, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
