What You'll Do as a Fabrication Welder:

Welding and fabricating metal componentsSetting up and laying out work using fixtures and guidesReading and following blueprintsSetting up and adjusting welding equipmentProducing strong, clean welds and testing the output

Work Experience

Preferred Candidate Might:

6 months of welding or fabrication experienceRead blueprints, industrial machinery layouts, and wiring schematicsFamiliarity with common welding tools and proceduresExperience with metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals
