Summary: Seeking a Welder/Fabricator to fabricate, assemble, and repair sheet steel and structural steel assemblies.

Requirements:

1 year of sheet metal fabrication experience

Ability to read specifications, blueprints, and job orders

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

Certification to AWS D1.1 by a third-party testing agency

Job Responsibilities:

Select gauge and type of sheet metal according to drawings provided

Cut, bend, grind, trim, notch, punch, de-burr, clean, and weld sheet steel and structural steel using appropriate machines and hand tools

Plan, lay-out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal parts and products

Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, and presses

Trim, file, grind, buff, and smooth surfaces using hand tools and portable power tools

Weld, solder, bolt, rivet, screw, clip, caulk, and bond component parts to assemble products

 

 

 Pay: 58000-67000

Pay Details: $58,000.00 to $67,000.00 per year
