Job Title: Welder & Fabricator

Job Description

We are currently seeking several skilled Welders and Fabricators to join our team on the 1st shift. Primary tasks will be welding and fabricating material that will be used to manufacture and build drying conveyor systems that dehydrate various products. We need welders who are responsible not only for welding but also for fabricating, turning wrenches, drilling holes, and other related tasks. The role involves working primarily with stainless steel and sheet metal of all gauges, particularly 16-22 gauge, and requires proficiency in vertical, horizontal, corner, and butt welding. This position will primarily be welding using MIG and TIG. Fabrication machines used will primarily be various press machines.

ResponsibilitiesPerform welding tasks, including vertical, horizontal, corner, and butt welds.Work with sheet metal of various gauges, particularly 16-22 gauge.Engage in fabricating tasks, including turning wrenches and drilling holes.Use fabrication machines and tools as required.Use various hand and power tools effectively.Collaborate with a team member and report to the erector.Essential Skills3-5+ years of welding and fabricating experience with TIG and MIG welding.Proficiency in welding techniques, including vertical, horizontal, corner, and butt welds.Experience with sheet metal work, particularly 16-22 gauge.Ability to use hand and power tools for various tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical AssemblyAssembly skillsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is in a non-climate-controlled facility. The role involves welding and fabricating tasks, and you will work a schedule of Monday through Thursday for 10 hours each day, with potential for optional overtime on Friday and Saturday as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
