Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting parts to print and performing MIG welding using weld symbols on the drawings. You will also conduct quality checks using various tools including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Additionally, you may use grinders or sanders to grind down welds, and all welds will be inspected by quality inspectors prior to being sent out. You will be certified upon hiring before welding on the parts, ensuring adherence to the quality standards for the Department of Defense.

Our work environment features two buildings located across the street from each other. The older building, where most of the steel welding occurs, can be somewhat loud and darker, with welding cells accommodating 1 to 3 people. This is where raw steel material is processed. The newer, cleaner building handles more assembly and painting, as well as TIG and aluminum welding. Work hours are from 6am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential work on Fridays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00
