**Welder/Fabricator $20/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our emergency vehicle manufacturing team located in Grove City, OH. The role involves supporting our weld and fabrication shop by performing duties related to MIG welding and interpreting blueprint specifications. You will be working on custom-built ambulances designed and fabricated to meet customer specifications. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and steel materials. + Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to build and layout jobs. + Use hand tools and operate different air-powered tools such as grinders, sanders, rivet guns, and saws. + Read tape measures accurately and perform basic math calculations including adding and subtracting fractions. + Maintain and pass AWS welding certifications. + Ensure tasks are completed within the provided three-hour timeframe for each assembly cell. **Essential Skills** + Strong MIG and TIG welding abilities on aluminum and steel. + Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and schematics. + Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations. + Experience with air-powered tools such as grinders, sanders, rivet guns, and saws. + Capability to maintain and pass AWS welding certifications. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially with custom-built products. + Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. **Why Work Here?** Join a leading manufacturer of custom-built ambulances, serving cities and counties across the United States.
