Job Description

The Welder Fabricator Plant Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the fabrication plant, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding and fabrication, along with strong leadership abilities to manage a team of welders, fabricators, and production staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the welding and fabrication plantEnsure production goals are met within deadlines while maintaining product qualityLead, mentor, and manage a team of welders, fabricators, and support staffCoordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communicationImplement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsMonitor inventory levels of materials and equipment, and manage procurement needsTroubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements to increase efficiencyTrack and report on production metrics, budgets, and timelinesCollaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives to grow the business


Work Experience

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a welder fabricator, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and materialsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and leadership abilitiesFamiliarity with safety regulations and industry best practicesProficiency in [relevant software/tools, if applicable]Relevant certifications or licenses, if needed
