SUMMARY

Lays out, fits, and welds steel fabricated components for all FMH Conveyors products lines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Calculates the location of various stop, dowel pins, drill bushings, etc. Selects the various types and methods of work holding. (Jigs and Fixtures) Sets up equipment and welds parts, using mig welder. Sets up equipment and welds parts, using tig welder. Sets up and operate a cutting torch and hand held plasma cutter. Knowledge of fabrication operation procedures, and basic mechanics of fabrication machinery and equipment Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on shear. Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on brake press. Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on mechanical power presses. Other duties may be assigned.
