We boldly go. **Essential Functions: Perform welding and grinding operations on assemblies using wire feed arc welding machines** **Education: High school diploma or GED** **Successful completion of the GMAW 1 welding course through Central Community College or equivalent** **Certifications:** **- Forklift, if applicable** **- Aluminum** **- Steel** **Quality Metric:** **- Scrap Dollars** **- Rejected and/or missing welds** **Minimum Qualifications** **- Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for specific department.** **- Must successfully complete a welding demonstration** **- Internal bidders must complete the GMAW 1 welding course through CCC before being considered for the position,** **unless they currently possess the necessary welding certifications for the position.
