Welding Engineer

**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ _Ensure that products are manufactured according to the specifications and designs set by corporate offices in the U.S.A. or through equivalent experience._
+ _Promote modern manufacturing systems that ensure a competitive advantage and develop the technicians that belong to the team._
+ _Maintain effective communication and information exchange with engineering managers at corporate offices._
+ _Know the different standards applicable our products welding qualification as well as the several processes that are used within the different welding areas in order to be able to improve the process as needed._
+ _Possess knowledge of the welding qualification process to qualify new processes or adjust existing ones as vital._
+ _Have expertise in the variables that impact the performance of the arc fusion welding process._
+ _Aligns with all safety policies, reports immediately any situation of risk and participates actively with actions to improve safety in his area of control._
+ _Propose, promote, and implement improvement proposals and detail them in the system that the company implemented for this purpose called Business Improvement Proposals System. Improvements that are not detailed in the BIP system, will also be an integral part of their work_ _._

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
1. _Preferred: At least two years of experience in the industry as a manufacturing engineer._
2. _Desired knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, Flow Charts, manufacturing procedures, code interpretation, welding, hydraulic systems, mechanical design, and GD&T._
3. _An engineering degree relevant to the assigned area is required._
4. _A master's degree is desirable._
5. _Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is a plus._
