Volt is immediately hiring for Welding Fabrication Specialist for a company located in Costa Mesa, CA.

As an Welding Fabrication Specialist you will:

\r\n\r\n

· Operates Heliarc, ARC, and MIG welding machines in accordance with Fab Shop procedures and plant specifications;

\r\n\r\n

· Follows blueprints, production drawings, production procedures, and instructions;

\r\n\r\n

· Confers with various departmental representatives to verify engineering plans, drawings, and specifications;

\r\n\r\n

· Performs hand burning and gas welding;

\r\n\r\n

· Repairs welds and structural welds;

\r\n\r\n

· Cleans shop and maintains work areas and equipment;

\r\n\r\n

· Operates drill press, occasionally, with instruction from supervisor;

\r\n\r\n

· Sets up, operates, and adjusts related production equipment as needed, including hand brake, sheet metal shears, grinder, lathe, saw cutter, and hand tools.

\r\n\r\n

· Regular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position; and

\r\n\r\n

· Fully comply with company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations;

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.

\r\n\r\n

Schedule: 6am to 230pm or 2 PM to 10:30 PM

\r\n\r\n

Days: Monday-Friday

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $21-$31 per hour

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tEquivalent to high school graduation; considerable experience, training, education, and/or certification as a combination welder, preferably within a related manufacturing environment.\r\n\r\n\r\n
