**Job Title: Welding/Fabrication Supervisor (1ST SHIFT)** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated Welding/Fabrication Supervisor to oversee various welding and fabrication processes and employees on the shop floor. You will assess and enforce proper safety protocols and maintain appropriate communication with the Director of the Manufacturing facility and the Human Resources Department. **Responsibilities** + Oversee production employees, including Welders, fitters and material handlers + Communicate effectively with HR and Management team before, during, and after shift completion. + Assist in overseeing and assigning production duties. + Maintain safety protocols. + Maintain documents for internal and external use. + Inspect welds and other machine work as required. + Assist with the training of new hires. + Maintain work area and ensure a clean, safe work environment. **Essential Skills** + Fabrication and welding expertise. + At least 5 years of experience working as a welding/fabrication supervisor. + Proficiency in Custom Fabrication. + MIG GMAW Welding. + TIG GTAW Welding. + FLUX FCAW Welding. + Blueprint reading skills. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
