You will uphold precise record-keeping, concerning student attendance and their grades, and you will offer guidance to students on their attendance, grades, and disciplinary matters, as needed.Our trainers are required to establish and sustain a secure environment at all times.It will be your duty to oversee all tools designated to the classroom. You will distribute, examine, repair, and instruct proper handling of those tools.As a prominently visible representative of the institution, you will communicate, uphold, and enforce school policies and procedures consistently, and advise students accordingly.During examination periods, you will ensure an ethical and impartial testing environment.Trainers are accountable for upholding classroom equipment through assessment, inspection, parts ordering, and repair.You will utilize your expertise to continuously assess the curriculum to ensure ongoing relevance.You will adhere to specified methods of record-keeping, as instructed by supervisory personnel.It is crucial to promptly communicate regarding supplies, tools, or other necessities required for students in the classroom.You are anticipated to sustain a functional field knowledge through continuous education and demonstrate ongoing professional development of your technical proficiency, and as an educator.One of the most gratifying aspects of this role is attending our biannual graduation ceremonies; attendance is compulsory for our educators.The successful candidate will collaborate as part of the team to develop and sustain the Instructor Training and Development program.You will execute the program and uphold all records essential to demonstrate successful implementation.You will be required to oversee new instructors in training and confer regularly with the training instructor regarding an instructor trainee’s progress.Trainers will offer guidance, leadership, and feedback for new instructors, assuming responsibility for their successful classroom preparation.You will consistently report all information and insights regarding a new instructor to the Lead Instructor/Director of Training and assist them as needed in the selection of new instructors for recruitment.You will establish and execute a plan to cross-train and be capable of teaching in any phase of training required.You will update the Lead Instructor/Director of Training on the progress of your plan for their review and feedback.It is essential to establish and execute a plan to explore continued study of education-related issues (i.e., learning styles, learning disability recognition & accommodation, classroom technological capabilities, etc.).The successful candidate will be ready and able to participate in any phase of training as a temporary assistant instructor, particularly in laboratory settings where our students require additional coverage and supervision.Trainers conduct monthly classroom and laboratory inspections, noting and addressing any physical facility maintenance needs and the general cleanliness and attractiveness of the area.You will monitor the working condition of training aids and discuss this with the phase instructor and report non-functioning equipment to the Lead Instructor/Director of Training.You will assist classroom instructors in the repair and maintenance of training aids as necessary, without diminishing the instructor’s responsibility for training aid maintenance.You will facilitate maintenance for campus facilities, utilizing available resources.You may be tasked with repairing tools/equipment not directly associated with a specific class.Trainers should be available to assist students needing short-term tutoring.In cases where it is determined that a student requires more extensive tutor attention, you will consult with the Lead Instructor/Director of Training.Trainers may aid the Lead Instructor/Director of Training in the development and implementation of a safety program.You will oversee the safety program in classroom and laboratory areas, and remind students and instructors of all safety requirements, and request that the program be followed.You will report any repeated violations of the safety requirements of the School to the Lead Instructor/Director of Training.You will monitor each instructor and assistant instructor monthly in their respective classroom/laboratory settings and complete a feedback form of noted observations.You will provide any suitable positive or negative feedback for the instructor’s review, with suggestions for improvement in areas of need.This position may entail work on evenings and weekends to meet business requirements.
Work Experience
The ideal candidate should be able to stand for extended periods.You will need to utilize calculators, keyboards, phones, and other office tools as necessary.Please note that bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching may be part of the job requirements.Your tasks may be carried out in a classroom or workshop setting.Anticipate encountering wet or humid conditions; moving parts of machinery; elevated, precarious areas; fumes or particles in the air; hazardous chemicals; outdoor weather conditions, and the potential for electrical shock.Occasionally, you may need to lift and/or transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
