**Job Title: Welding Production Supervisor**
**Job Description**
Establish production and quality control standards with management. Plan and prioritize production activities, balancing efficiency and cost considerations. Coordinate production with maintenance and quality control to ensure optimal labor, machine, and equipment use. Lead efforts to promote a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with engineering to develop methods and procedures aimed at reducing waste and improving product quality. Adjust staffing levels and overtime as needed to meet production demands. Maintain time and production records. Address workplace issues and support workers in achieving performance goals. Develop strategies to motivate the workforce. Manage employee-related tasks including hiring, training, work assignments, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions in line with company policies. Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and addressing associate concerns. Uphold company procedures and collaborate with human resources to resolve potential problems. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, tiered accountability, standard work, and Kanban systems to improve flow and productivity.

**Essential Skills**
+ Bachelor’s degree.
+ 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
+ Experience supervising 10+ direct labor employees.
+ Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing; Six Sigma or Green Belt certification.
+ Working knowledge of manufacturing operating systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
**Work Environment**
Work in both office and manufacturing environments. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
