**URGENTLY HIRING a Welding Production Supervisor** **PAY:** $31 - $45 **SHIFT:** 6am - 3pm **LOCATION:** Blauvelt, NY **Job Description** As a member of the Quality and Production Engineering team, the Production Engineering Technician provides support to production operations and continuous improvement activities. Additionally, this role offers technical support and guidance throughout the welding and brazing production process to ensure the company meets or exceeds Quality and Compliance requirements. The Welding Production Supervisor will maintain and improve welding machinery, practices, and materials as needed to support business growth and operational excellence. **Responsibilities** + Be responsible for site welding and brazing operations, including PQR, WPS, Welder Logs, Welding coupons, and testing. + Support weld equipment maintenance. + Support Engineering Change Order implementation by conducting operator training as necessary for assigned product lines or areas. + Promote safety awareness in accordance with company requirements and guidelines; ensure processes are designed for operator safety. + Support product process control documentation. + Participate in the effort to develop, document, and sustain Standard Work, and develop visual aids. + Design and develop machine tooling to aid in manufacturing cells. + Identify and propose alternative methods and materials with regards to safety, quality, manufacturability, and cost. + Ensure compliance and integration of regulatory requirements (UL, etc.) into product lines as defined by management, engineering, sales, and marketing. + Perform quality audits on finished units and work in process. + Maintain logs and records in accordance with Quality System requirements. + Process Non-Conforming Product (NCP) Reports. + Perform visual and mechanical inspections on parts and work in process for compliance to regulatory requirements. **Benefits** Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Sick Time, Over Time, Room to Grow **Please apply with your most recent resume and a recruiter will reach out!** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
