**Job Title: Welding Robot Operator**
**Job Description**
Responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of robotic welding equipment. Welding robot operators are critical to the fabrication of metallic parts or assemblies through welding by means of a robotic machine.
**Responsibilities**
+ Weld components using robotic welding equipment.
+ Read, interpret, and follow technical drawings and blueprints.
+ Adhere to detailed welding instructions, processes, and procedures.
+ Oversee the daily operations of welding machines.
+ Conduct quality checks and tests to ensure products meet quality standards.
+ Inspect parts for defects such as dents or scratches.
+ Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
+ Follow instructions from the team leader.
+ Perform all production-related tasks and activities.
+ Properly use and maintain equipment.
+ Report any environmental risks or hazards in the workplace.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area to support manufacturing functions.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or GED preferred.
+ 2+ years’ experience in welding and fabricating.
+ Experience with Panasonic Robots.
+ Knowledge of machine maintenance and operation.
+ Proficiency in MIG welding (2 years).
+ Ability to read blueprints (2 years).
+ Experience in robotic welding (2 years).
+ Ability to make pendant adjustments (2 years).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in stainless steel and flat welding.
+ Experience in robotic welder setup.
+ Knowledge of robotic programming.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flowery Branch, Georgia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
