GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY This is a 9-month, full-time position. Instructors may be assigned classes at any of the four River Parishes Community College campuses (Gonzales, Reserve, Plaquemine, and St. Charles), as determined by student need and institutional demand. Teaching needs may include face-to-face/online and/or evening classes. Full-time faculty are expected to actively serve on campus committees, participate in campus activities, and participate in student advising and recruitment. No Civil Service test score or assessment is required to be considered for this vacancy. Applications may be rejected if incomplete.* Minimum Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS + Three (3) years welding and cutting experience. + Proficient in multiple welding processes. + Certified Welder, Certified Welding Educator, Certified Welding Inspector, or OSHA Authorized Instructor preferred. + Satisfactory background check – an offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check. + Previous teaching experience preferred.
