Welding Trainor Night Shift
Pay Rate: $35.36/hr + .90/hr shift differential Schedule: Mon-Thur 4pm-3am & Fri & Sat 4pm-10pm **Responsibilities:** + Provide hands-on instruction in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding. + Assess trainees' skill levels and recommend customized training paths. + Emphasize safe welding practices, proper equipment usage, and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards. + Monitor trainees' performance to ensure high-quality work that meets industry and company standards. + Conduct periodic assessments to validate skills and certify trainees in welding processes. + Ensure all training equipment, tools, and welding machines are maintained and in good working order. + Demonstrate proper setup, operation, and maintenance of welding equipment. + Collaborate with production supervisors and management to identify training needs. + Provide regular progress reports and feedback to trainees, supervisors, and leadership. + Stay updated on advancements in welding techniques and technology to improve training programs. + Serve as a mentor to trainees, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. + Address trainees' questions and challenges to promote understanding and skill development. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred. + Minimum of 5 years of welding experience in a production or fabrication environment. + Previous experience as a trainer or instructor is highly desirable. + Proficient in various welding techniques and processes. + Strong understanding of welding codes, blueprints, and technical specifications. + Excellent communication and instructional skills. + Ability to assess trainee skills and provide constructive feedback. + Strong commitment to safety and quality standards. + AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Educator (CWE) preferred. **Benefits** : Pay Rate is $35/hr + .90/hr shift differential for night shift Comprehensive health benefits package.
