DUTIES & Responsibilities:
IBWM Planning and execution:
Ensures Subsea Operating and testing procedures associated with the PDCL in RMS are followed at the job site and updated using the AAR and change request processesEnsures maintenance procedures in RMS associated with equipment are followed at the job site and updated using the AAR and change request processesEnsures QA/QC checks and hold points are embedded to the IBWM planEnsures QA/QC checks and hold points are correctly applied during IBWM executionEnsure pro-active planning of all BOP maintenance activities.Coach SS teams on correct use of IBWM Project planning toolsAssists build BOP IBWM plans/work scopesEnsure IBWM operations follow IBWM workflow requirement and monitors executionActively participate in the pre-deployment checks list (PDCL) and pre-deployment conference call.Participates in After Action Reviews (AAR). Assists WCE Manager to ensure actions are carried out and implemented into next IBWM plan.Actively support the IBWM strategy, planning, execution and AAR processTechnical Expertize:
Assists in or is a delegated offshore survey of Well Control Equipment & IBWM Process (Subsea Audit).Provide technical support during Subsea Downtime situation as directed by the WCE Manager; follow the troubleshooting protocols and assist WCE Manager as required to coordinate the troubleshooting process between the rig teams, technical support and the OEM.Ensures rig subsea teams are actively sending components ashore for control equipment forensic investigationsShare technical findings and recommendations with WCE Manager.Assist WCE Manager with long term planning relating to Well Control Equipment including project planning, equipment upgrades, recertification, rig stacking/preservation and certification ManagementReview all WCE related OER’s.Ensure rigs are correctly following up on WCE alerts and bulletins distributed through RMSMentoring and training:
Supervises a subsea SWAT squad which travels between rigs to assist IBWM and QAQCCoaching and mentoring of all offshore Subsea personnel (including trainees & SWAT team).Assist WCE Manager to Manage the development of Division SWAT team(s) coordinating with the Swat Team Pool manager where applicationSpecifically ensure compliance and proficiency in planning and execution of maintenance activity as well as the use of correct maintenance procedures, and reporting in RMS (with a particular focus on BOP Component Tracker)Expectations are that a WCE superintendent will support subsea activities and be onboard the rig before and during all IBWM periods and unsuccessful deployments.Actively review riser running activities and to remain until all riser is run and BOP is latched up. Exceptions may occur if division WCE superintendent manpower cannot cover IBWM periods being conducted simultaneously.Support OEM maintenance agreements through coordinating their offshore activitiesDEFINITION OF AUTHORITY

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent with rig based subsea experience, inclusive of in-house subsea and management training courses.
EXPERIENCE:
Extensive knowledge and experience with subsea equipment and systems.Minimum of 3 years in a senior supervisory position.SKILLS:
Very good communication skills (speaking, listening and writing) are essential as the position requires communicating well with people at different levels and with various nationalities (internally and externally). Have the capability to facilitate effectively conference calls and meetings.Strong leadership skills.Ability to supervise ~10 people. The job requires to work both individually and as part of a team to implement IBWM strategy. Conversant with company management systems including RMS, ICS, Compass and APTProject planning skills relating to in between well maintenanceSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Broad oilfield operations experience with in-depth subsea knowledge. Must be familiar with applicable subsea regulation requirements, API codes, subsea equipment details, operation and maintenance requirements.
SUPERVISION:
Supervise Division SWAT team members.
DECISION MAKING:
Must be capable of decision making with minimal supervision.Acts to reach a sound technical decision while implementing Company standards, meeting Customer expectations and respecting the financial goals of the divisionBUDGETS:
