Wellbeing Clinician / Mental Health Clinician - Wellbeing Program - Full Time
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Wellbeing Manager, will provide crisis intervention, short term solution-oriented counseling and coordinate programs/ services to support The Guthrie Clinic’s initiative to improve the wellbeing of its caregivers and dependents. Education, License & Cert: Master’s Degree in the mental health field, with applicable state licenses. Experience: Minimum of five years in the mental health field. Background in healthcare preferred. Essential Functions: + Provide counseling, coaching, consultation, assessment, brief treatment and referral services to all caregivers of The Guthrie Clinic and their dependents who are experiencing problems which might negatively affect their personal wellbeing or work performance. + Refer caregivers/dependents who need additional support to other service providers. Develop and maintain a current referral resource directory that identifies external service providers who are of the highest quality and whose training and expertise allow employees to make maximum use of caregivers’ health insurance benefits. + Provide consultation to managers who request assistance in dealing with work performance concerns, individuals and teams. + Organizes training to work groups in areas to develop staff and mitigate organizational risks. + Assist, where needed, in the development of policies that will improve caregiver and organizational wellbeing. + Wellbeing representative on Guthrie committees and work groups. + Utilizes EAP software to keep accurate records of all EAP activities. + Maintains confidentiality of caregivers/dependents. Other Duties + Performs word processing of correspondence and reports. + Sends out and records responses of wellbeing surveys. + Perform related work as required.
