Overview To provide strategic and tactical guidance and assistance to the GBS Sales and Service teams and support the Client Trusts and entities within the Trusts related to wellness, wellbeing, engagement and healthy living. This will include, but not be limited to, design of wellness programs, creation and preparation of communication materials for internal and external use, participation in client meetings and prospect capabilities presentations, creation of innovative client solutions, and marketing for best solutions to meet client Health and Wellbeing needs. How you'll make an impact Design and support delivery of health and wellbeing programs to help clients improve the wellbeing and engagement of their employees, manage costs, and become a Destination Employer. Integrate the GBS Health & Wellbeing vision into all client projects in order to help clients achieve an optimum level of health through ongoing customized wellness activities. Assist branch office staff with analysis of claims data to determine group's health, and to provide recommendations and guidance to develop effective wellness program strategies. Demonstrate strong communication, both oral and written, and presentation skills. Contain deep knowledge of national and local wellness vendor market and insurance carrier wellness programs. Participate and contribute to the Health & Wellbeing team including special assignments as appropriate as well as the Divisional team. Contain deep knowledge on the legislation and regulations that affect Wellness programs. Design internal and external wellness program communication and educational materials including e-mails, flyers, brochures, posters, and social media campaigns. Prioritize tasks so that deadlines are met and schedules are maintained smoothly. Build and maintain favorable relationships with clients, vendors and other office staff. Produce accurate and high impact wellness reports for clients and internal office staff. In conjunction with South Central Practice Leader, represent GBS in the local market committees, workgroups, and speaking engagements to bring visibility to GBS’ thought leadership and maintain a competitive advantage in the health and wellbeing area. Candidate must be a self-starter and comfortable working in an autonomous environment with minimal supervision. About You Required: Bachelor's degree; Minimum 4 years experience in the Health/Wellness field (vendor, carrier, corporate, Broker/Consulting) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must have computer skills and be proficient with Windows-style applications, email, and internet. Must be able to travel (up to 40% travel INCLUDING OVERNIGHTS). Preferred: Education in health related field (Exercise science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, public health, health promotion, etc. preferred. Experience working with employee benefits, wellness vendors, and insurance carriers desirable. Behaviors: Good communication skills, especially with client and key vendors. Ability to function within all levels of organization and at various locations. Relate effectively and work respectfully with diverse work groups.
