Accounting Financial Analysis and Planning Healthcare Economics Financial Operations

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close Assist with updating reports to effectively show financial results and financial forecasts Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, identify issues and provide corrections in a timely manner Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and account reconciliations Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits Participates in professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field from an accredited college / university during the duration of the internship. Other degrees are considered when accompanied by aptitude or interests in finance. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

 
Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA 1+ years of working with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc. as well as proficiency in other Office applications Reliable transportation

 

The hourly range for this role is $18.00 to $32.00 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
