Wellness Coordinator

The Role:

Exos is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity that will typically flex 3 days working from our NYC office and 2 days from home. The Wellness Coordinator's duties will include:

Assist with the development of strategic plan for outcomes focused health and productivity management programs

Provide professional expertise to the development of the client’s health and productivity management programs

Develop and manage annual program calendar and comprehensive communications plan

Assist with the coordination of wellness committee and wellness champion network activities

Assess current client needs; Research, gather, and recommend pertinent evidence-based health information related to trends, updates, and specific client health initiatives; Provide subject matter expertise for client

Facilitate linkage between internal (i.e. Benefits, Medical, Safety, Facilities, Fitness Centers) and external (i.e. health insurance, employee assistance, health portal, data warehouse, workers compensation) health improvement partners

Assist with coordination, integration, and cross referral between health improvement partners

Assist with the delivery and coordination of health and wellness programs and incentives for local eligible employees and family members, such as, but not limited to: 10K Steps Fitness Challenge, Five a Day for Better Health and Nutrition, Stress and Weight Management training, and Know Your Numbers campaigns

Develop and design, and/or coordinate health and wellness related presentations, screenings, and health fairs

Provide ongoing coordination for programs such as, but not limited to, data management tracking and reporting support

Discover and review third party vendor products and tools

Order, maintain and organize supplies

Assist with budget preparation and management

Provide support for client liaisons on tasks to be determined

The Ideal Candidate would have:

Bachelor level degree in health promotion, health education, exercise physiology or a health-related field, plus 3-5 years experience working in a related setting

Master’s degree preferred

Experienced in the logistics, planning, delivery, coordination, and evaluation of health promotion activities

Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to interact with a variety of corporate department team members

Ability to excel in a collaborative work environment; ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Outlook and Word skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to meet high level expectations in corporate environment

Ability to organize and coordinate events/programs for remote sites

Residents of California, Colorado, New York, and Washington: Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $50,000/year to $75,000/year. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
