+ Requirement: Must be enrolled or completed a nutrition and/or dietetics program from an accredited college or university
+ Pay Range: $23.00-25.00 per hour

Job Summary
CulinArt is seeking a passionate and motivated Wellness Assistant to join our college campus team. The Wellness Assistant will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing wellness and nutrition initiatives across the campus community. The Wellness Assistant will be working with the Campus Registered Dietitian to provide a robust wellness program to the students at Stony Brook University under the brand of SBU EATS.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist the Campus Registered Dietitian with all wellness events and promotions on campus.
+ Accountable to attend each event and for set up and breakdown of events
+ Duties at event: to promote Smoothie Bikes, campus events, fairs, and sessions to endorse available resources and services.
+ Contributes to the Wellness Team by the implementation of new & innovative programs, knowledge of current nutrition trends, accomplishment of "Best Practices", and as evidenced by consistent execution of campus programs
+ Participates in the development & implementation of nutrition workshops, presentations, and cooking classes (i.e. Teaching Kitchen)
+ Ability to contribute to the development of educational materials [ i.e. brochures, pamphlets, and digital & social media resources] to promote nutrition knowledge and awareness on campus.
+ Ability to participate in the student onboarding process/nutritional screening & monitoring, especially for students with food allergies, food-related diseases, & intolerances etc.
+ Maintains confidentiality and ensures a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive environment, during counseling sessions.
+ Assists with data entry for menus, recipes development, menu maintenance and reviews ingredients and products to ensure accuracy on digital screens, menus, digital labels & labeling.
+ Assists Registered Dietitian with menu tasks and projects as needed.
+ Accountable to weekly menu analysis, food allergy monitoring & program implementation, and completion of wellness audits
+ Assists with sustainability efforts and implementation.
Qualifications:
+ Currently enrolled or has completed a degree in nutrition and dietetics from an accredited college or university program. Preferrable by the CDR or Academy of Food & Nutrition.
+ Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, safe & ethical nutrition practices.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information in a clear and engaging manner.
+ Passion for promoting health and well-being among college students.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Familiarity with social media platforms, graphic design software (Canva), and data analysis tools (Google Analytics, etc)
