Position Summary Join Aetna/CVS Health as the Wellness Manager on the Southeast Public & Labor team. In this high-impact role, you will work in partnership with sales and account management teams to provide wellness consulting services with existing customers. You will be responsible for achieving revenue, customer, membership and/or profit earnings growth by providing strategic and technical support throughout the sales support process. Responsible for partnering with sales and account management teams to consult with prospective and existing customers to provide their employees with the best possible wellness programs. Applies in-depth knowledge in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wellness programs to reduce health risks, healthcare costs, and population absenteeism due to illness and disability. You will: - Lead development of workplace wellbeing solutions designed to reduce health risks, healthcare costs and increase employee engagement. - Heighten the awareness of the factors that can affect health and longevity, enabling the population to take increased responsibility for their health behaviors. - Support the development, training and implementation of workplace wellbeing offerings to address retention/turnover, absenteeism due to illness and disability, and return-to-work challenges. - Serve as client point of contact for assigned accounts, often representing some of the more complex or key accounts within the team. - Serve as a resource to guide team members in resolution of escalated client or account issues. - Support the acquisition of new business, by educating distribution partners (brokers/consultants) on Aetna's well-being strategy and purpose. - Serve as a market resource for local sales team supporting internal and external speaking engagements. ie. finalist presentations, conferences, wellness councils, requests for proposals, community initiatives, etc. as applicable. - Mentor and coach team members as well as lead onboarding/training of new hires, as applicable. - Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: - 3 or more years’ experience leading and guiding development of multi-year workplace well-being and cost savings strategies or relevant experience. - Highly self-motivated to do what it takes to achieve success in a fast-paced environment. - Proficient in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Publisher. - Written and verbal communication skills must be concise, clear and convincing. - Willing to seek and maintain wellness-based certifications, such as those provided by NWI, WELCOA or other health and wellness experts. - Certified Wellness Program Manager (CWPM) or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire. - Live in Fort Lauderdale or Tampa area, or willing to commute to Aetna office in SE region. - Able to travel up to 25%, may include overnight. Preferred Qualifications: - 2 or more years sales or account management experience. - Florida Health and Life Insurance license. Education - Bachelor’s degree in health education, health promotion or related field, or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree preferred. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $60,300.00 - $132,600.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
