Basic Function: Supervise safe, effective and innovative wellness & exercise programs for guests. Will assist Wellness Staff in all areas relating to sessions/treatments and guest satisfaction. Work closely with Spa Director on daily and quarterly activities. Innovate and collaborate on new programming, sessions and wellbeing pathways to enhance the guest experience and content creation. Monitor gym and movement studio. Provide a safe, clean, motivating and nurturing environment for services that exceed guest expectations.
Work Performed:
Manage Wellness staff schedules.Monitor Fitness and movement studio equipment and facilitate maintenance or replacement as needed.Innovate, create and assist with new wellness programming.Creating activity schedules.Working on the floor, interacting with guests and helping with equipment during shift.Maintain wellness supplies as needed including inventories and purchase orders.Maintain customer service standards.Maintain overall cleanliness of the Fitness and movement studio. Promote Wellness offerings to guests.Promote classes and private bookings. Upholds the resort commitment to hospitality.Ensure all assigned areas are maintained at a high level of standard.Manage schedules and activities through necessary systems.Acts as MOD as required.Follow safety first policy in work areas and with chemicals and equipment.Clean and store equipment properly.Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent work experience. Bachelor degree preferred. National Fitness certifications. Ability to confidently lead, motivate a group and clearly communicate. Self motivated ability to work with little supervision. Must be dependable. CPR and First Aid certification.
