Wet Etch Advanced DRAM Process Development - Sr. Engineer

As a Senior/Principal engineer, you will be part of a revolutionary Advanced DRAM research & development wet etch team. The position promises ample opportunities for innovation, collaboration and testing a new dimension with Advanced DRAM. You will work directly with process integration and other process areas such as Dry Etch, Metals, CVD, Diffusion, Lithography & CMP. You will work on state of the art and best in class wet etch tooling & own the process roadmap to meet program and yield goals. **Expectations for this role include, but not limited to:** + **Technically innovate** : Drive strategic technical or tactical decisions at a project and platform level by contributing to high-level innovation feasibility studies; Regularly solves sophisticated problems before they become problems. Key challenges include vapor/plasma etching, selective wet etching, surface prep, and high aspect processing. + **Technically Focus** : Has the vision and technical skills to relate technologies and business plans of group and other group’s projects; Actively builds Micron intellectual property; Aware of external technical advancements substantiated with understanding of the state-of-the art. + **Impact Results** : Leads Micron IP into successful technical readiness and transition to program integration. + **Influence** : Regularly drives product planning/roadmap, platform features, and functional area strategy. Successfully convinces management to initiate new projects. + **Skill and experience** : Regularly interact with senior management to provide consultation and influence technical and strategic decisions; Crafts alliances with customers. + **Lead:** Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams, Technology focus teams, etc.; demonstrates independence and initiative in proactively developing and applying new skills in the most critical current or future domains + **Mentor:** Mentors others within their technical subject area to achieve high levels of technical leadership; shares knowledge with others, proven through mentoring, coaching, presenting, etc. **Minimum Qualifications:** + 7 years of experience in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or an equivalent field is required. + Suitable experience includes (1) research done during pursuit of a PhD and 2 years of relevant industry experience (2) issuance of a Master’s degree and 5 years of relevant industry experience (3) issuance of a bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant industry experience. + Experience in DRAM or Memory is preferred. + Experience working as a process development engineer in a R&D environment preferred. + Experience with coding, automation and/or data science is preferred.
