Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wetland Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental science, biology, natural resources, or a related field, and possess extensive experience in wetland delineation, project management, and permitting. ResponsibilitiesConduct wetland delineation field work.Manage projects independently, including field work and project management.Handle wetland impact permitting.Utilize GPS, GIS, and AutoCAD for project tasks.Develop and maintain client relationships.Prepare reports and communicate findings effectively.Travel periodically for project needs.Essential SkillsBS Degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources, or a related field.5 or more years of related wetland experience, including wetland delineation field work, project management, and wetland impact permitting.Experience with GPS, GIS, and AutoCAD.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain and develop client relationships.Ability to manage projects independently, including field work.Willingness to travel periodically.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in ecology, environmental science, and environmental compliance.Skills in soil sampling, wetland delineation, wetland restoration, and wetland mitigation.Knowledge of environmental remediation, environmental monitoring, and due diligence.Work EnvironmentYou will be working in tandem with a variety of departments and have the opportunity to be cross-trained on all company operations.We offer a flexible working environment with a family feel.Employees have reported high job satisfaction and career progression.This role involves working both in the field and at home/office in Newark, DE. The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
