**Job Description**
**Tasks and Responsibilities**
+ Utilize SQL and SAS to collect and organize Company data, used in maintaining PowerBI dashboards, updating operational manuals, completing compliance and regulatory filings, and supporting ad-hoc requests.
+ Develop and routinely lead data quality efforts, particularly engaging in leak data collection processes with field personnel and annual DOT report filings.
+ Participate in and help prepare for quarterly DIMP Council meetings, where pipeline integrity discussions with management are held.
+ Leads data gathering for the annual DOT Report for the 3 operating jurisdictions (Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia). Supports other regulatory proceedings and filings as necessary.
+ Participates in and supports audits from local regulatory agencies.
**Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities**
Required:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or another related field.
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience with SQL, SAS, PowerBI, and Microsoft Excel.
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in a data analytics position or field.
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, as well as identifying relevant issues in solving business problems.
+ Proven strong quantitative skills related to statistical and risk-based analysis.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate data logically and concisely both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences at all organizational levels.
+ Ability to work in a team environment and regularly collaborate with other employees and team.
Preferred:
+ 2+ years of experience with natural gas utility operations and construction practices (or other energy/utility experience as relevant).
+ Experience with GIS systems such as SmallWorld, Esri, or ArcGIS.
+ Experience with FME or Python.
+ Familiarity with state and federal regulations (DOT 192, specifically Subpart P).
+ Demonstrated experience working with large data sets and cross-system queries.
+ Experience with identifying and remediating data quality issues.
We offer a competitive salary range of $78,000 to $113,250 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
